Banking Consultant – Retail Banking (Caringbah)

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless banking experience for customers, addressing their full range of financial needs and goals. Working primarily in branch, you will combine transaction expertise with needs‑based conversations and promote digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive higher customer engagement and advocacy by delivering personalised financial advice.
• Participate in and support bank programmes and initiatives.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of each customer’s risk profile (“know your customer”).
• Ensure strict compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.
• Execute customer transactions and fulfil product recommendations according to accreditation level.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus, preferably with retail experience.
• Comfortable using and promoting technology and digital channels.
• Strong multitasking ability and adaptability to change.
• Team‑oriented mindset with willingness to coach peers.
• Sound understanding of compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
