Banking Consultant – Perth WA

About the role

This role is based mainly in branches, providing customers with a seamless banking experience. You will meet each customer’s end‑to‑end financial needs, handle transaction activities, conduct needs‑based conversations and educate them on digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a seamless branch experience by meeting customers’ banking needs across transactions, conversations and digital education.
• Act as a collaborative team member, role model and peer coach to deliver the best possible customer experience.
• Contribute to a significant uplift in customer engagement, advocacy and real customer value.
• Participate actively in bank programs and initiatives.
• Take responsibility for ‘know your customer’ from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus – retail experience is an advantage.
• Experience as a user and promoter of technology – familiarity with digital channels is beneficial.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Sound understanding of compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
