Banking Consultant, Perth

About the role

ANZ is hiring a Banking Consultant in Perth (WA) within its Australia Retail branch division. The role is based mainly in branches, delivering a seamless banking experience by meeting customers' end-to-end financial needs and goals across transactions, needs-based conversations and education on available financial solutions, including digital ones. It is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week) and may involve rostered Saturday shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a seamless branch experience by handling transactions, having needs-based conversations and educating them on digital solutions.
• Complete customer transactions and fulfil products according to your accreditation level.
• Be part of a collaborative team and act as a role model and peer coach.
• Support bank programs and initiatives.
• Know your customer from a risk perspective and comply with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Ideally retail experience; not all listed skills are required.
• Experience as a user and promoter of technology, with working knowledge of digital channels.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Willingness to work in a collaborative team.
• Sound understanding of compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
