About the role

ANZ is looking for a part‑time Banking Consultant to join its Cairns retail branch. You will help customers navigate their financial needs, from everyday transactions to digital banking solutions, ensuring a seamless and satisfying branch experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end‑to‑end banking services, handling transactions and providing advice tailored to each customer’s goals.
• Engage in needs‑based conversations and educate customers on digital banking options.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within the branch team to uphold high service standards.
• Support bank programmes and initiatives that drive customer engagement and advocacy.
• Maintain a strong understanding of risk, compliance and ANZ policies.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus with a service‑oriented mindset.
• Retail banking experience is an advantage.
• Ability to conduct needs‑based conversations and promote appropriate financial solutions.
• Awareness of risk and compliance requirements in a banking environment.
