Banking Consultant – Part Time

About the role

ANZ is hiring a Banking Consultant in Ellenbrook, Western Australia, based mainly in its branch. The consultant meets customers' end-to-end financial needs, handles transactions, has needs-based conversations and educates customers on available financial solutions, including digital ones. The role is permanent and part time (20 hours per week), Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30-5:15, with possible rostered Saturday shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a seamless branch experience by handling transactions, having needs-based conversations and teaching customers about digital solutions
• Work as part of a collaborative team and act as a role model and peer coach
• Support bank programs and initiatives
• Know your customer from a risk perspective and comply with ANZ and branch policies and procedures

Required profile

• Ideal candidates have retail experience and a sound understanding of compliance
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to change and ambiguity
• Willingness to work in a collaborative team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Not expected to have all listed skills; a growth mindset is valued

Required skills

• Exceptional customer focus
• Working knowledge of digital channels is an advantage
