Banking Consultant – Brisbane CBD & Inner City

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless banking experience to customers across Brisbane’s CBD and inner‑city branches. You will address end‑to‑end financial needs, guide customers through transactions, and promote digital solutions while ensuring compliance and risk awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality customer service, handling transactions and product enquiries in‑branch.
• Conduct needs‑based conversations to identify and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Promote and educate customers on ANZ’s digital banking channels.
• Support branch initiatives and programs to boost customer engagement and advocacy.
• Maintain compliance with ANZ policies, risk standards and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a peer coach and role model for colleagues, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑focus with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including rostered Saturday shifts.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative retail banking environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning and adherence to compliance standards.
