Back of House Assistant

About the role

The Back of House Assistant supports the store’s operational excellence by handling merchandise from delivery to the shop floor. Working Tuesday to Saturday, you will keep the stockroom organised, ensure products are ready for sale, and assist the sales team with urgent product requests.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, process, label and store incoming merchandise.
• Maintain a tidy, damage‑free back‑of‑house area and prevent stock loss.
• Assist the sales team by locating and delivering requested footwear styles and sizes to the shop floor.
• Ensure all products are correctly priced and tagged.
• Replenish stock on the shop floor, keeping full size ranges available.
• Support the Back of House Manager/Supervisor in meeting KPIs and targets.

Required profile

• Previous customer‑service experience in retail, hospitality or a similar environment.
• Positive, can‑do attitude with strong organisational skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work quickly in a fast‑paced setting.
• Willingness to work the specified roster (Tuesday‑Saturday).
