About the role
MSS Security, one of Australia's leading security companies, is seeking Aviation Protection Officers to join its team at Devonport Airport. The role covers security screening and monitoring of airport premises.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct security screening for passengers, staff and visitors.
- Operate security technology and systems, including metal detectors, x-ray machines and explosive trace detection tests, to identify potential risks or prohibited items.
- Perform scans and thorough bag searches when necessary to ensure compliance with aviation security regulations.
- Monitor and patrol airport premises.
- Provide a high standard of customer service to passengers, staff and visitors.
Required profile
- Full Australian working rights.
- Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
- Ability to undergo a medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing.
