Automotive Parts Interpreter

About the role

NAPA Tamworth is looking for an Automotive Parts Interpreter who enjoys delivering excellent customer service and finding the right solution every time. The role suits someone who likes a fast-paced environment, builds customer relationships and wants to work in a town known for its festivals and friendly community. Parts Interpreters give accurate technical parts support to trade, industrial and mining customers, using their automotive and mechanical knowledge to advise, problem solve and sell.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret parts and process customer orders
• Dispatch products and parts efficiently
• Promote specials and arrange buy-ins
• Process customer credits
• Act as first point of contact for customers, in person and by phone
• Receive, dispatch and put away stock, including lifting, bending and climbing
• Contribute to a culture of safety

Required profile

• Technical parts knowledge and passion for great customer experiences
• Ability to share technical knowledge clearly with customers
• Solution-focused, collaborative and innovative approach
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment within a high-performing team
• Always conscious of workplace safety
• Former GPC team members are welcome to apply
