Automotive Parts Interpreter (Casual)

About the role

Repco, a division of GPC Asia Pacific, is hiring a casual Automotive Parts Interpreter at its Repco Max store in Logan City. The interpreter supports DIY and trade customers with technical product advice, leads trade sales and helps build the store's credibility.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to trade and retail customers using expert automotive parts and mechanical knowledge
• Build effective customer relationships and use up-to-date product information to solve problems and maximise sales
• Work in a busy, phone-based customer service role while staying safety aware

Required profile

• Automotive parts or mechanical experience
• Passionate customer service expert with some sales experience
• Comfortable sharing knowledge in both technical and non-technical ways
• Solutions-focused, proactive team player who can also work independently
• Flexible availability and a valid driver's licence (manual preferred)
• Willingness to lift, bend, climb and drive safely

Required skills

• Experience using computers and computer programs
• Technical and non-technical communication
