Auditor – Professional Services (NSW)

About the role

BDO is seeking an Auditor to join its thriving audit practice in New South Wales. You will work with a diverse portfolio of private and listed companies, gaining exposure to complex audit engagements while developing your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Execute audits for large proprietary and listed organisations.
• Identify and communicate risk areas to key stakeholders and clients.
• Assist in developing audit strategies and drafting audit plans.
• Group audit instructions and document control environments.
• Review files for technical accounting and audit requirements.
• Draft management letters and audit completion reports.
• Prepare statutory financial reports.
• Provide high‑level client service through on‑site visits and build internal relationships.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of external audit experience in a professional services firm.
• CA/CPA qualification (or working towards it).
