Audit Supervisor – Oil & Gas

About the role

PKF Perth is looking for an experienced Audit Supervisor to lead complex audit engagements, particularly for clients in the Oil & Gas sector. You will work closely with partners and managers to ensure high‑quality audit outcomes while developing junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex audit engagements across a diverse client portfolio, with a focus on Oil & Gas.
• Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact throughout engagements.
• Review audit workpapers, provide coaching, and give constructive feedback to junior staff.
• Identify and resolve technical audit issues, applying sound professional judgement.
• Oversee engagement budgets, work‑in‑progress, and deadlines.
• Support the development and mentoring of graduates and junior auditors.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and new opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement in audit processes, systems, and methodologies.

Required profile

• Qualified CA, CPA or equivalent professional designation.
• Proven experience leading audit engagements in a supervisory or senior auditor capacity.
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting.
• Experience auditing clients within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Commitment to quality, professional ethics, and continuous improvement.
