Audit Partner – Lead Sydney Audit Team

About the role

This senior leadership position will head the audit practice for a leading international professional services firm across the greater Sydney region. You will own an established client portfolio, drive business development, and influence strategic direction while working closely with partners nationwide.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of audit clients.
• Mentor, develop and lead a high‑performing local audit team.
• Build strong client and referral relationships throughout Sydney.
• Identify and implement operational efficiencies.
• Contribute to the firm’s strategic planning and decision‑making.
• Collaborate with other service lines across the national network.

Required profile

• CA, CFP or equivalent professional qualification.
• 10+ years of audit experience in a mid‑tier or Big 4 firm.
• Proven track record of managing client relationships and leading teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and proactive business‑development mindset.
• Ready to operate at a Partner or Director level.
