Audit Associate / Senior Associate – EY Australia

About the role

Join EY’s Audit team in Australia as an Associate or Senior Associate and work on innovative, data‑driven audit solutions. You will collaborate with the data transformation team to automate audit stages, allowing you to focus on client interaction and advisory work.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate audit engagements, assessing audit risk and ensuring compliance with EY policies.
• Execute audit procedures with a solid understanding of the client’s operating environment.
• Lead the planning, execution, and reporting phases of external audit and assurance engagements.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing value‑added recommendations.

Required profile

• Degree or progress toward a recognised accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Experience delivering external audit and assurance engagements.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and collaborative skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS accounting framework.
