Audit Associate / Senior Associate – Australia

About the role

Join EY’s Audit practice in Australia as an Associate or Senior Associate. You will work with the data transformation team to design and implement innovative audit solutions that automate and digitalise key audit stages, allowing you to focus on client interaction and advisory work.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate audit engagements, assessing audit risk and ensuring compliance with EY policies and protocols.
• Execute audit procedures with a solid understanding of the client’s operating environment.
• Collaborate with the data transformation team to develop custom audit tools and automation.

Required profile

• Experience delivering external audit and assurance engagements.
• Proven ability to lead audit planning, execution, and reporting.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and collaborative skills.
• Knowledge of IFRS and related financial reporting matters.
• A degree and/or progress towards a recognised accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships, offering value‑added recommendations.
