Audit Associate / Senior Associate (Australia)

About the role

Join EY’s audit practice in Australia as an Associate or Senior Associate, working alongside the data transformation team to design and deliver innovative, digital audit solutions. You will help automate audit stages, allowing more time for client interaction and strategic consulting.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate audit engagements, assessing audit risk and ensuring compliance with EY policies.
• Execute audit procedures with a solid understanding of the client’s operating environment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop custom audit tools and digital workflows.

Required profile

• Experience delivering external audit and assurance engagements.
• Proven ability to lead audit planning, execution and reporting.
• Strong communication, negotiation and collaborative skills.
• Degree or progress toward a recognised accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships and provide value‑added recommendations.
