Audit and Assurance Manager

About the role

KPMG Australia is seeking an experienced Audit and Assurance Manager to lead complex engagements for large, publicly listed clients. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality audits, advising on high‑judgement accounting matters, and collaborating closely with partners and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion.
• Design and perform audit procedures to obtain sufficient appropriate evidence.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex issues.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with prestigious audit clients.
• Contribute to business development and thought leadership within the practice.

Required profile

• Proven experience in audit, preferably within a large professional services firm.
• Strong client‑management and team‑mentorship abilities.
• Commitment to audit quality and public interest.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, both written and verbally.
