About the role

We are looking for a dedicated accountant to support our Australian clients. You will be responsible for preparing accurate financial reports, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining the general ledger while ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

Prepare monthly financial reports for Australian clients.
Perform bank reconciliations and update general ledger accounts.
Assist with tax filings, Business Activity Statements (BAS/IAS), and regular financial reporting.
Process vendor bills, client invoices, and payroll entries on a daily basis.
Communicate clearly with Australian team leads to answer queries, explain numbers, and meet deadlines.
Regularly review financial records to ensure data accuracy and currency.

Required profile

Strong accounting knowledge and meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Effective planning and organisational skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

Required skills

Proficiency with accounting software.
