Associate Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Ivory Group, a nationally recognised quantity surveying consultancy, is expanding its Queensland operations and wants to build a Brisbane office. As Associate Quantity Surveyor you will help establish and grow the office, delivering cost management and advisory services across a diverse portfolio of projects while working closely with senior leadership and the national team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost plans, estimates and feasibility assessments.
• Measure quantities and prepare Bills of Quantities.
• Assist with pre-tender estimates and tender documentation.
• Manage variations, progress claims and contract administration.
• Provide cost management and advisory services throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build relationships with clients and key project stakeholders.
• Work with the national team to deliver projects and share technical expertise.
• Help grow the Brisbane office and its client portfolio.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Previous experience in a quantity surveying consultancy.
• Strong technical knowledge of cost planning, measurement, estimating and contract administration.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to work autonomously in a collaborative team.
