Associate – NFR Records

About the role

ANZ is looking for an Associate to join its Technology, Data, Information Security Risk Centre of Excellence. You will lead the elicitation, documentation and management of business and data requirements for the Non‑Financial Risk (NFR) Records Remediation program, working closely with risk, finance, technology and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead structured requirements elicitation across business and data domains through workshops, interviews and document analysis.
• Document and manage high‑quality business and data requirements (BRDs, user stories, data definitions) ensuring traceability to outcomes.
• Translate business needs into data requirements, including sourcing, transformation logic, attributes and reporting outputs.
• Partner with risk, finance, technology and business teams to validate requirements and agree scope.
• Support solution design, ensuring requirements are complete, prioritised and understood by delivery teams.
• Perform data analysis to assess source systems, data quality and gaps.
• Collaborate with technology teams to translate requirements into system and data solutions.
• Support testing activities by defining test scenarios, validating outputs and confirming requirements are met.
• Maintain requirements traceability throughout delivery phases and provide governance updates.

Required profile

• Experience in gathering and documenting business and data requirements, preferably in a risk or financial services environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across risk, finance, technology and business domains.
• Ability to analyse data sources, assess data quality and identify gaps.
• Proven capability to support solution design and testing activities.
