Associate Lawyer – Workers Compensation (Sydney)

About the role
Turks is seeking a motivated Associate Lawyer to join its high‑performing Employers Liability team in Sydney. You will work on complex workers‑compensation and work‑injury damages matters, representing clients in courts and tribunals.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of workers‑compensation and work‑injury damages cases.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and strategic advice.
- Appear before courts, tribunals and the Personal Injury Commission.
- Review and draft policy wording related to workers‑compensation matters.
Required profile
- Law degree with a current Practising Certificate.
- Minimum 2 years post‑admission experience in litigation, preferably in workers‑compensation or work‑injury damages.
- Excellent analytical, drafting and verbal/written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic, client‑focused and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
