Associate Lawyer – Litigation, Property & Construction

About the role

Chambers Russell Lawyers is expanding its Melbourne team and is looking for a motivated Associate Lawyer with experience in litigation, property or construction matters. You will manage an independent caseload while receiving guidance from senior partners, contributing to the firm’s national growth.

Key responsibilities

• Handle litigation, property and construction matters from inception to resolution.
• Prepare and review legal documents, pleadings, and contracts.
• Conduct thorough legal research and produce high‑quality written advice.
• Interact directly with clients, providing updates and strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with paralegals, senior lawyers and business development teams.

Required profile

• 1‑4 years post‑qualification experience (PQE).
• Proven ability to manage cases or transactions independently.
• Excellent legal writing, research and communication skills.
• Alignment with the firm’s values and a collaborative mindset.
