Associate – Internal Audit

About the role

The Associate – Internal Audit will join Scyne Advisory’s Risk, Programs & Cyber practice, supporting public‑sector clients to improve governance, risk management and control environments. You will work on a variety of audit engagements, helping executives gain confidence that key risks are managed and decisions can be made quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and conduct internal audit engagements covering operational, strategic, compliance and financial risks.
• Develop strategic internal audit plans and execute fieldwork, including internal controls testing and report preparation.
• Collaborate with multiple client engagement teams across different sectors.
• Coach and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Build strong client relationships and work with stakeholders to identify risk areas and improvement opportunities.
• Report findings and present recommendations to senior business stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of Scyne Advisory’s service offerings and internal tools.
