Associate Editor – Financial Standard and Money

About the role

We are seeking an experienced writer‑editor to produce branded and commercial content for Financial Standard and Money. The role sits at the intersection of editorial craft and commercial delivery, working closely with editorial, sales, marketing and research teams.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and edit sponsored and branded articles, special features, media partnerships, events and awards‑related deliverables.
• Write and edit long‑form feature content to a high editorial standard while managing schedules, approvals and deadlines across multiple projects.
• Translate commercial briefs into engaging, on‑brand editorial pieces and commission external writers when needed.
• Collaborate with media sales, marketing, design and production teams throughout the content lifecycle.
• Incorporate proprietary research insights and contribute ideas for new content formats such as native storytelling, multimedia and emerging solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Journalism, Communications or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience writing, editing or producing branded or commercial content.
• Strong long‑form and feature‑writing skills with a background in journalism, media, content agencies or PR/communications.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple content projects, deadlines and stakeholders with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
• Familiarity with SEO best practices.
• Knowledge of social, multimedia, video or podcast content production (plus).
