Associate Director, ICT and Security

About the role

AECOM is seeking an experienced ICT/Communications and Security leader for its Brisbane team to provide strategic and technical leadership across a diverse portfolio of projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical leadership for ICT, Communications and Security projects, overseeing delivery, commercial performance and client engagement.
• Lead development and delivery of integrated solutions including structured cabling, IT networks, wireless, VoIP, CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, security alarm systems and cyber security.
• Act as senior technical advisor to clients, project teams and contractors from inception through design, documentation and construction.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identify opportunities and contribute to business growth.
• Provide technical governance and quality assurance ensuring solutions meet standards and best practice.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and national technology advisory groups across major sectors.
• Lead, mentor and develop engineers and technical staff.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering qualification in Electrical, ICT or Communications with 15+ years’ industry experience.
• Professional Engineering Registration and relevant Security Advisor Licence or eligibility.
• Extensive experience leading ICT, Communications and Security design and consulting services in the building environment.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and manage senior stakeholders.
• Strong commercial awareness and business development experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capability.
