Associate Consultant – Data Analyst (6‑month contract)

About the role

Infosys BPM is seeking an Associate Consultant – Data Analyst for a six‑month full‑time contract in Australia. The successful candidate will join a high‑performing squad, working directly with business stakeholders to capture, analyse, and document data requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Hit the ground running and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Own discovery and analysis activities, driving requirements capture and validation.
• Produce high‑quality analytical artefacts for immediate consumption by development teams.
• Support delivery velocity without adding mentoring overhead for existing squad members.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to elicit and refine business requirements.
• Assist developers and testers through requirements clarification and data validation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as a Senior Data Analyst in complex enterprise data environments.
• Strong knowledge of the Insights Platform and its role in strategic outcomes.
• Deep understanding of enterprise data models, data lineage, and data architecture concepts.
• Ability to quickly map source‑to‑target data flows and document business rules.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging senior business and technology leaders.
• Full Australian work rights (valid visa or citizenship).

Required skills

• Advanced SQL capability for query development and data validation.
• Experience with data mapping specifications and data lineage documentation.
• Familiarity with the Insights Platform.
