Associate Construction Litigation Lawyer

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Construction Litigation Lawyer to join our Sydney construction disputes team. The role involves handling high‑value energy, transport and infrastructure matters across court, arbitration and other ADR forums, both domestically and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead litigation and arbitration matters arising from major construction and infrastructure projects.
• Conduct expert determinations, adjudications and other ADR proceedings.
• Coordinate with contractors, principals, insurers and technical experts across multiple jurisdictions.
• Provide legal advice to corporate, developer and government clients on project cancellations, restructurings and defect issues.
• Prepare and present submissions in Supreme Court, Federal Court and international arbitration venues.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with several years of experience in construction or infrastructure disputes.
• Demonstrated experience on PPP, transport or energy projects is highly regarded.
• Ability to manage complex, multi‑jurisdictional matters and interact directly with demanding commercial clients.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
