Associate and Senior Associate - Audit, Wealth & Asset Management

About the role

EY is hiring Associates and Senior Associates for its Financial Services audit practice covering Wealth and Asset Management, based in Warringah, Sydney. The role is hybrid. You will help clients meet their reporting requirements by accurately reporting on financial statements, while also valuing start-ups and mature companies, performing operational due diligence reviews, mapping and testing processes and controls, and working with leading investment managers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage audit processes with due regard for audit risk and accounting technical matters such as financial instruments
• Engage clients and give professional advice throughout transactions, including identifying improvements to clients' business processes
• Communicate professionally with client stakeholders throughout engagements
• Apply expertise in accounting frameworks (IFRS) and related financial reporting matters
• Keep up with current market trends and share knowledge to develop junior colleagues

Required profile

• Ideally experience delivering external audit and assurance engagements in the Wealth & Asset Management sector
• A strong academic record, including a degree; CA or equivalent highly desirable, though alternative qualifications are considered
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn
