Assistant Service Leader - Plympton

About the role

Camp Australia runs a service in Plympton, South Australia, where children are at the centre of its work before school, after school and during holidays. As Assistant Service Leader you will create a safe, welcoming space where children can relax, have fun and flourish, designing and maintaining an engaging, safe and compliant program.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain an engaging, safe and compliant program
• Plan exciting daily activities for primary-aged children
• Prepare and serve delicious, healthy snacks
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families and the local school community

Required profile

• Completed a childcare-related diploma or equivalent
• Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid Child Protection training certificate and Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain)
• Availability from 7:00 am to 9:00 am and 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday
• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills
