About the role

Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen is hiring an Assistant Restaurant Manager for its high-volume restaurant in Australia. The role supports the daily management of the restaurant, with a clear development pathway to Restaurant Manager and beyond, and a robust 2-3 month training program.

Key responsibilities

• Support the daily management of the restaurant
• Lead the team through busy service periods
• Deliver crew training
• Proactively improve the guest experience
• Support inventory and financial management as required

Required profile

• Experience leading a team in a busy, high-volume hospitality or retail environment (supermarkets, fast-food, pubs/clubs, restaurants)
• Experience delivering exceptional customer service
• Exceptional communication skills
• Passion for inspiring, leading and developing your team
