Assistant Restaurant Manager - Eatons Hill Drive-Thru

About the role

The Yiros Shop, a family-owned Australian fast-food chain serving Greek-inspired street food, is opening a brand-new drive-thru restaurant in Eatons Hill and is building its launch team. It is looking for a motivated leader who wants to run their own restaurant as part of a growing brand.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train and inspire a dynamic team, leading by example and building a positive, inclusive culture
• Oversee day-to-day operations including stock management, compliance, scheduling and team coordination
• Maintain and raise the standard of service so every guest receives a warm welcome and a great meal
• Manage costs, maximise sales and meet KPIs to drive profitability
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness and health standards are met at all times
• Act as an ambassador for the brand, reflecting its values of authenticity, quality and community

Required profile

• Minimum 6 to 12 months of management experience in hospitality or QSR
• Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate a team
• Strong commercial awareness focused on KPIs and financial performance
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
• High standards of food safety, compliance and operational excellence
• Genuine passion for hospitality and customer experience

Required skills

• Alert Food Safety Certificate (free online, must be completed before starting)
• Valid working rights in Australia (passport and visa grant letter for international workers)
• RSA Certificate to be obtained within 30 days of starting employment
