Assistant Relationship Manager – Business Banking (Toowoomba)

About the role

The Assistant Relationship Manager will support Relationship Managers in delivering value to agribusiness customers across regional markets. Based in Toowoomba, you will help manage and grow a portfolio of business clients while ensuring high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Relationship Managers in managing customer relationships within an assigned portfolio tier.
• Respond promptly to client queries and maintain professional service standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and customer files in line with Suncorp Bank policies.
• Extract and analyse financial statements, cash‑flow forecasts and other complex reports.
• Identify acceptable lending risk levels and contribute to profitable transaction outcomes.
• Promote a risk‑management culture and proactively escalate issues.
• Follow complaint‑resolution processes to protect service quality and mitigate losses.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support a collaborative ‘one‑team’ approach.
