Assistant Manager - Willaston Hotel

About the role

The Willaston Hotel, located on Main North Road in Adelaide's northern suburbs, is a busy community venue with a high-volume Family Bistro, an indoor playground, a Sports Bar and an outdoor beer garden. ALH Hotels is looking for an Assistant Manager to support the Publican and run the pub day to day.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely and with a great atmosphere
• Learn the role of Publican while leading a team of hospitality staff
• Handle problems before they become bigger issues
• Deliver energy, service and a smile every shift

Required profile

• Experience working behind the bar, bistro or gaming room, with some supervising already
• Confidence, pride and people skills to represent the pub when the boss is away
• Current RSA, RSG and RP badge as required by state regulations
• Able to lift and move stock, kegs and deliveries safely and efficiently
