Assistant Manager – Pub Operations (South Australia)

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to help keep our South Australian pub buzzing and loved by locals. You’ll support the Publican, ensure smooth and safe operations, and lead a team of hospitality legends.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Publican in day‑to‑day operations, maintaining a great vibe and safety standards.
• Lead and motivate a team, handling any issues before they become problems.
• Manage stock, kegs and deliveries, performing manual handling safely.
• Deliver excellent service with energy, smiles, and consistent hospitality each shift.

Required profile

• Experience working in a bar, bistro, or gaming venue, with some supervisory responsibilities.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as moving stock, kegs and deliveries.
• Current RSA and RSG/RCG certifications as required by South Australian regulations.
• Confident, people‑focused and able to represent the pub when the manager is away.
