About the role

As an Assistant Manager in the Premium Broker – SME Team at ANZ, you will support Relationship Managers to acquire, grow and retain a portfolio of small and medium enterprise customers and brokers, delivering a best‑in‑market experience.

Key responsibilities

Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of customers' business and financial needs.
Act in the best interest of customers, providing suitable products and services.
Provide appropriate solutions for account maintenance and customer requirements.
Maintain a well‑managed, compliant portfolio in line with policies and procedures.
Control workflows across compliance and customer fulfilment processes.
Collaborate with product partners and other stakeholders to meet customer needs.

Required profile

Experience in financial services or business banking.
Familiarity with risk‑management concepts and regulatory requirements such as Know Your Customer (KYC) and anti‑money‑laundering (AML).
Ability to manage strong customer relationships, handle service queries and resolve minor issues.
