Assistant Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Pullman Adelaide, a flagship brand of Accor, is seeking an Assistant Manager to ensure seamless service across the hotel. You will work closely with the front‑office team, support other departments and uphold the high standards expected by our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the guest experience at check‑in and check‑out, ensuring smooth and welcoming interactions.
• Proactively gather guest feedback and resolve issues to achieve high satisfaction scores.
• Coach, mentor and support team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Maintain safety and security standards consistently throughout the property.
• Drive loyalty‑member experiences, including onboarding and engagement.
• Provide operational support to other departments as required.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Proven ability to resolve conflicts professionally and diplomatically.
• Forward‑thinking mindset with the capacity to anticipate challenges.
• Demonstrated leadership, decision‑making and team‑development skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Organised, able to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification and a valid RP Badge for Responsible Service of Alcohol in South Australia.
• Full‑time working rights in Australia and willingness to obtain police and vulnerable‑person checks.

• Opera Cloud (or similar Property Management System).
• Microsoft Word.
• Microsoft Outlook.
