About the role

The Assistant Fresh Manager supports the Fresh department in delivering a consistent, high‑quality shopping experience. Working within an inclusive team, you will develop leadership skills while contributing to daily store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Department Manager in overseeing fresh product displays, stock levels, and merchandising standards.
• Ensure safety and hygiene procedures are followed for team members and customers.
• Collaborate with other store areas to create a seamless overall shopping experience.
• Provide day‑to‑day support to the department team, addressing operational issues promptly.
• Model customer‑focused behaviours such as acknowledging, caring for, and thanking shoppers.
