Assistant Financial Analyst

About the role

Covetrus is seeking an Assistant Financial Analyst to join its APAC Finance team on a permanent basis. The role can be based in Brisbane (Northgate) or Sydney (Erskine Park) and reports to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager. You will support business analysis, reporting, budgeting and forecasting with a strong customer focus.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely customer and supplier reporting.
• Daily sales‑versus‑target reporting to senior management.
• Support pricing maintenance and analysis.
• Manage monthly KPI reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare sales variance reports and maintain customer reporting data.
• Assist with budget and forecast preparation.
• Maintain BI tools and reporting systems.
• Provide data support for sales, purchasing and warehouse teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar corporate finance role.
• Strong business analysis skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Motivated, self‑driven and eager to progress within the organisation.
• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance, or currently studying.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
