Assistant Engineering

About the role

The Perth Mint is seeking a proactive Assistant Engineering professional to support its Refinery Engineering team on a 6‑month part‑time basis. Based at the refinery site near Perth Airport, you will help keep projects on track by providing administrative and documentation support.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage engineering documentation and project files.
• Coordinate administrative processes, including purchase requisitions and invoice handling.
• Maintain systems and procedures that ensure smooth refinery operations.
• Assist engineers with technical writing and document control tasks.
• Liaise with contractors, technical specialists, and internal stakeholders.
