Assistant Coordinator & Educational Leader (OSHC)

About the role

St William's OSHC is seeking a passionate Assistant Coordinator who will also act as an Educational Leader. This full‑time position supports daily service operations while guiding a team of educators to deliver high‑quality, child‑centred programs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of engaging, child‑focused programs.
• Mentor and support educators to build confidence, capability and reflective practice.
• Oversee compliance, documentation, rostering and day‑to‑day service operations.
• Foster a calm, inclusive environment where children feel safe and connected.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, school staff and the wider community.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and help shape the future direction of the service.

Required profile

• Experience working within the Education and Care sector.
• Leadership experience or readiness to step into a leadership role.
• Understanding of the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place.
• Passion for mentoring educators and building strong team culture.
• Organised, proactive and solutions‑focused with a balance of operational and creative skills.
