Asset Manager (AI-native) - Industrial Site Near Gladstone

About the role

Tailor, an AI system, keeps the registers, inspection records and reports for an industrial site near Gladstone; you check them, make decisions and sign off. The role covers land, infrastructure and buildings, and is advertised as full-time, Monday to Friday, with start and finish times between 6am and 6pm to suit the site.

Key responsibilities

• Look after the land, infrastructure and buildings: inspections, asset and defect registers, keys and access.
• Host site inspections for buyers, tenants, valuers, insurers, contractors and authorities.
• Manage heavy equipment and mobile plant, including cranes, forklifts and elevating work platforms: custody, servicing, registrations and coordinating licensed operators.
• Identify surplus equipment and arrange its removal, sale or disposal.
• Coordinate contractors and site inductions, and report clearly on what is ready and what is open.

Required profile

• Hands-on experience running industrial sites, facilities or plant fleets, ideally in Central Queensland.
• Sound safety judgement; a white card and first aid certificate; Cert IV WHS is a plus.
• A trade or technical background (mechanical, electrical or civil) is a strong plus; you will not operate high-risk plant or switch electricity yourself.
• Current driver's licence and residence in or near Gladstone.
• Willingness to learn a new way of working; no prior AI experience needed.
• Right to work in Australia; a criminal history check and site inductions apply.

What we offer

• Full-time employment with salary plus superannuation.
• Fixed-term position from mid-December 2026 to 30 June 2027.

To apply, send your CV and a short note about a site or plant fleet you have looked after by email to the employer, with the subject "Asset Manager (AI-native) - Gladstone". Applications close on Friday 20 November 2026.
