Area Sales Manager - Crop Science, Southern NSW

About the role

A global provider of sustainable agricultural products and solutions, represented by Agrecruit, is looking for a motivated Area Sales Manager to drive growth across Southern NSW. The role develops customer relationships, identifies new opportunities and implements sales and marketing strategies to maximise the performance of a diverse product portfolio. It is a full-time position with salary; the remuneration package is negotiated with the successful candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets and profitability objectives across the territory
• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities
• Drive sales growth through proactive business development
• Negotiate with customers and industry stakeholders
• Manage sales forecasts, budgets and inventory
• Plan territory activities and manage time effectively
• Monitor competitor activity, market developments and customer needs
• Build strong relationships with distributors, agents and growers

Required profile

• Self-motivated, reliable and able to work independently
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and organisational skills
• Agricultural industry knowledge and understanding of crop protection products highly regarded
• Tertiary qualification in agriculture or business is an advantage
