Area Sales Manager – Automotive OEM

About the role

Geely is seeking an Area Sales Manager to support the Regional Sales Manager in driving dealer performance across Victoria and Tasmania. This hands‑on, execution‑focused position offers a direct pathway to Regional Sales Manager roles within a leading global automotive OEM.

Key responsibilities

• Support dealerships in achieving retail, wholesale and KPI targets.
• Work closely with dealer sales teams to drive daily and weekly execution.
• Identify performance gaps and implement action plans with dealers.
• Monitor pipeline, conversion and sales activity to maintain momentum.
• Build strong relationships with dealer sales managers and frontline teams.
• Provide hands‑on support to improve showroom performance and customer experience.
• Escalate key risks and issues to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Track and analyse sales data, stock levels and dealer KPIs.
• Prepare regular reports and insights for the Regional Sales Manager.
• Support forecasting, order planning and stock management.
• Assist in implementing national sales campaigns, incentives and new product launches.

Required profile

• Motivated to step up within an OEM environment.
• Ability to manage a portfolio of smaller or developing dealers.
• Strong focus on execution and delivering consistent sales growth.
