Architecture & Interior Design Internship

About the role

Join Gensler’s Ignite studio as an intern and gain hands‑on experience on design projects that shape the built environment. This role offers a collaborative, fast‑paced environment where you will work alongside architects, designers, and project leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to design workshops, planning sessions, and project development to meet client objectives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across various industries and locations.
• Participate in educational sessions, lunch‑and‑learns, project tours, and vendor presentations.
• Work on a group intern project focused on community‑oriented initiatives.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Architecture or Interior Design, preferably in the final year.
• Demonstrated leadership in academic or community settings.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit (required).
• Experience with AutoCAD or other BIM modeling software (preferred).
• 3D rendering ability using SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar tools.
• Design software knowledge: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
