Architect – Perth

About the role

Hassell is seeking an experienced Architect to join its Perth studio. You will work on complex, design‑led projects across sectors such as health, education, workplace, civic, infrastructure and mixed‑use, contributing from concept design through to documentation and construction support. The role offers the chance to shape places that have a lasting impact on people and communities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concept designs, design development and technical documentation for a range of projects.
• Produce construction‑ready documentation and provide on‑site construction support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate external consultants.
• Contribute to integrated project delivery within collaborative BIM environments.
• Apply strong understanding of construction methodology and architectural detailing.

Required profile

• Registered Architect in Australia or eligible and committed to registration.
• Proven experience delivering complex architectural projects through multiple stages.
• Strong design thinking combined with excellent technical delivery.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Currently based in Perth or willing to relocate, with full Australian working rights.
