Applied AI Engineer – AI Finance Agent

About the role

We are seeking an Applied AI Engineer to build AI‑native systems for our AI Finance Agent. This role focuses on turning manual financial workflows into scalable, AI‑driven solutions that improve product quality and reduce operational effort.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI‑powered workflows, assistants, agents and automation across customer support, CRM, onboarding, claims, renewals, payments and internal tools.
• Integrate large language models, internal data sources, APIs, documents and knowledge bases into production systems.
• Develop evaluation, monitoring and fallback mechanisms to ensure AI outputs are safe, reliable and cost‑effective.
• Prototype quickly, test with users or operators, and productionise successful solutions.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering foundation, preferably with Python and backend development.
• Hands‑on experience building with LLM APIs, agents, retrieval‑augmented generation or workflow automation.
• Ability to connect AI systems to real product, data and operational workflows.
• Good judgement on when to use AI versus rule‑based or human‑review processes.
