Application Support Officer – Level 1 & 2 (APS4)

About the role

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) is looking for an Application Support Officer (APS4) to join its Information Management and Technology Services Branch. You will provide Level One and Level Two support for core agency applications, ensuring reliable service for staff across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 support for CRM, IRM, SharePoint and ServiceNow platforms.
• Investigate and resolve incidents and fulfil service requests in line with ITIL processes and service level agreements.
• Communicate clearly with users, manage expectations and provide timely updates on issue status.
• Collaborate with the broader IT team to maintain system stability and support hybrid/remote work environments.

Required profile

• Adaptable individual able to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to manage multiple requests.
• Commitment to the ACCC’s values of inclusion, flexibility and high performance.

Required skills

• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
• Knowledge of Information Management (IRM) tools.
• Proficiency in SharePoint.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow.
• Understanding of ITIL principles for incident and request handling.
