Appian Solution Architect

About the role

Lead solution design and architecture for Appian‑based solutions across a range of industries, translating complex client requirements into scalable, secure designs. Work remotely or from any location that suits you while collaborating with Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation team.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end Appian architectures, including data models, performance optimisation and integration with legacy systems.
• Lead pre‑sales activities, scoping, client presentations and commercial proposition drafting.
• Provide technical guidance to delivery teams, conduct code reviews and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Mentor developers, stay current with Appian capabilities and help shape the Australian Appian practice.

Required profile

• Extensive client‑facing experience as a Technical Architect, with significant time as an Appian Architect.
• Strong background in enterprise application delivery within Agile environments.
• Proven ability to design secure, scalable solutions and remove technical impediments.

Required skills

• Appian platform components: process design, SAIL, rules, security, integration.
• Integration experience with Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Dynamics 365, custom APIs and Azure cloud.
• Database design and performance tuning.
• Agile methodology and software consulting (ERP, CRM, BPM/Workflow, EAI).
