Android Developer with iOS Experience

About the role
We are looking for a skilled Android Developer with iOS experience to join Synechron’s mobile application development team in Australia. The role involves building, enhancing and maintaining native Android applications while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences across platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test and maintain high‑performance Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
- Support existing Android codebase and contribute to iOS components where required.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers and backend developers to define features and ensure quality.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging and performance optimisation.
Required profile
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in Android development.
- Demonstrated experience with iOS development (Swift or Objective‑C) is required.
- Ability to work on‑site in Melbourne or Sydney on a full‑time or contractor basis.
