Analyst / Developer

About the role

The Analyst / Developer will design, build and maintain digital products that serve residents, businesses and Council staff across the Sunshine Coast. Working within the Development and Integration team, you will contribute to customer‑facing websites, mobile apps, online services, payments, and system integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain secure applications and system integrations.
• Translate business problems into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
• Develop APIs that connect cloud, on‑premises and third‑party platforms.
• Collaborate directly with stakeholders, developers and technology specialists.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, technical evaluations and technology choices.
• Participate in code reviews and improve development standards.
• Diagnose complex technical issues and enhance application reliability.
• Mentor team members and share knowledge across the development team.
• Explore emerging technologies that deliver meaningful value.

Required profile

• Experienced software professional who enjoys solving difficult problems and building useful products.
• Strong background in C# and modern .NET development.
• Proven experience delivering secure, maintainable, high‑quality software.
